Back to School Program
The Salvation Army joins with the community to help children return to school with all the supplies needed to engage in their educational activities. Backpacks are loaded with supplies and available to all families seeking assistance during August and September.
Summer Camps
In the summer of 2011, we sent 35 children to Holiday Camp at the beautiful Salvation Army camp in Langdale, BC.
Coats for Kids
This is another partnership with Sleep Country Canada that allows us to help those in need. Drop off a coat at any Sleep Country store, between September 23 & October 31, and it will be distributed to children in need by The Salvation Army.
