We do our best to offer training according to community need. We offer a wide range of skills including cash and customer service skills, WHMIS, personal finance, and job seeking skills.
We are committed to providing you with the tools needed to reach your very best and giving you the confidence to apply jobs. We believe in a freedom in the ability to learn what you want, when you want, regardless of income or circumstances. If you need training to get a specific skill, come into the office and ask. Computer Literacy Training at the Stan Hagen Learning Centre 
One of the major barriers people face in gaining employment in the Greater Victoria area is a lack of computer knowledge and skills. As a result, The Salvation Army created a Computer Literacy Training program in December 2003 which has proven to be a successful program for many of our clients.

Knowing The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) makes you more employable because it is the standard system for labelling chemicals. A sure way to brighten your résumé.
Cash and Customer Service
Getting an understanding of how to manage cash is an essential part of many jobs. We offer training to help you to be comfortable in payment situations.
