Emergency Assistance

The Salvation Army is well known for its readiness to give material assistance quickly and compassionately. Such assistance might include food, lodging, clothing, furniture, transportation, medicine, rent, or utilities. Emergency assistance may be available through our Community & Family Services Centre. Plans for other material aid are developed in relationship to the resources offered by other community services. We will do our best to provide for the needs of our community. If we cannot meet the needs, we will help our clients find another agency/resource that can.

People who wish to access our Emergency Assistance Program should drop by our office at 2695 Quadra Street and fill out an application form. Our staff will do their best to process your application as quickly as possible.
