Thank you for your support!
Everyone at The Salvation Army Stan Hagen Centre for Families would like to thank donors for their generous contributions and support over the 2011 holiday season. Whether you gave toys, food, money, or knit goods you can be sure that it was used to help someone in your community.
Our efforts in the community do not stop after December. We continue to address the needs of the community as they arise. Our programs and services are continuously evolving, refining, and changing to meet the needs in Victoria. If you ever want to stop into our office and visit during regular office hours, please feel free.
If you or anyone you know finds themselves in a difficult situation, come into our office on the corner of Quadra and Hillside and we will do our best to address the unique situation.
Programs & Services
When you think of The Salvation Army Stan Hagen Center For Families, you probably think of two things: food and clothing. And you are correct. partially! While we help hundreds of people each year with the basics of food, clothing, & shelter, there is so much more that we do.
Computer Literacy Training at the Stan Hagen Learning Centre
One of the major barriers people face in gaining employment in the Greater Victoria area is a lack of computer knowledge and skills. As a result, The Salvation Army created a Computer Literacy Training program in December 2003 which has proven to be a successful program for many of our clients.
